Welcome to FELLOWS. By using our app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

What FELLOWS Is

FELLOWS is a mobile application designed to support individuals in 12-step recovery programs. The app provides tools for:

• Finding AA and NA meetings
• Working the steps with guidance from your sponsor
• Daily mood check-ins and journaling
• Connecting with your sponsor and fellowship
• Tracking clean time and milestones

What FELLOWS Is Not

• A replacement for in-person meetings
• A replacement for your sponsor
• Professional medical or psychiatric treatment
• A crisis hotline or emergency service
• A cure for addiction

Your Account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use FELLOWS
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You may not share your account with others

End-to-End Encryption

Your journal entries and step work are protected with end-to-end encryption. This means:

• Your data is encrypted on your device before being stored on our servers
• The encryption key is stored only on your device and never transmitted to us
• We cannot read, access, or recover your encrypted data
• If you lose your device or uninstall the app without backing up your encryption key, your journal and step work cannot be recovered

Acceptable Use

When using FELLOWS, you agree to:

• Respect the anonymity and privacy of other users
• Not harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Not use the app for any illegal purpose
• Not attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Not use the app to distribute spam or malicious content

Sponsor Relationships

FELLOWS facilitates communication between sponsees and sponsors. However:

• We do not verify the qualifications of sponsors
• Sponsor-sponsee relationships are between those individuals
• We are not responsible for advice given by sponsors through the app
• You choose what information to share with your sponsor

Feeling Shaky Feature

The Feeling Shaky button sends a notification to your connected sponsor. This feature:

• Is not a substitute for emergency services
• Does not guarantee an immediate response
• Should not be relied upon in life-threatening situations

If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services (911), the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (988), or SAMHSA's National Helpline (1-800-662-4357).

Meeting Information

Meeting data is provided by third-party sources (BMLT and Meeting Guide APIs). We do not guarantee the accuracy of meeting times, locations, or availability. Always verify meeting details before attending.

Subscriptions and Payments

• Some features require a paid subscription
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• You can cancel anytime through your app store
• Refunds are handled according to app store policies

Intellectual Property

FELLOWS and its content are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Limitation of Liability

FELLOWS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:

• Relapse or other recovery-related outcomes
• Actions taken based on information in the app
• Interactions with sponsors or other users
• Technical issues or service interruptions

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.
